It isn't worth it if learning new raids with friends is the part you enjoy. Here is what you pay for, what it saves you, and the questions to ask any seller before you order.

Why TFA prices differ between sellers
You'll see Fractured Archive listings from under $10 to more than $40 a run. Before you compare prices, check what each one covers:
- Is it a full clear, or only part of the raid?
- Who plays: a team the seller employs, or whoever picks up the order?
- What happens on a wipe? Do you lose the run, pay again, or get a free rerun?
- Is the price per clear or per attempt?
- Does the page describe the real raid? Listings that still mention a hybrid armour set or the TzHaar-Ket Breaker are using rewards Jagex dropped.
TFA Carry or learn it blind?
No Practice Mode at launch, and every wipe sends the team back to the lobby. Skip the learning curve.
What learning the raid yourself costs at launch
Jagex built the Fractured Archive to be its toughest raid, and it launches without Practice Mode. If your team wipes, everyone is sent back to the lobby with a gravestone, as in Theatre of Blood. Reclaiming items from a gravestone can cost up to 500,000 coins, on top of the supplies you used and the run itself. There is no Overload and no banking inside, so every failed attempt uses up a full inventory. Early groups will wipe often while they learn the bosses.
Practice Mode arrives some time after launch and refunds supplies, but it only lets you practise bosses you have already reached in a real run.
Who should buy a TFA carry
- You want KC or uniques in launch week, while the raid is new and few teams can clear it.
- You don't have a regular raid group, and the raid is built for 3 to 5 players.
- You want the untradeables, Elemental fragments and the Archivist's Folio, which only come from clears.
- You want to learn by playing with experienced raiders: TFA Boosting puts you in the run on your own account.
